The event will introduce research by SDA Bocconi on how digital payments (wallets, mobile banking, super-apps) contribute to GDP growth by fostering tech innovation, financial inclusion, and cross-border trade.

Bocconi’s research will act as the starting point for an informal exchange with the European Commission and industry representatives on the evolution of digital wallets, new technologies and emerging users needs, and the policy drivers to enhance innovation, wide-scale adoption, interoperability, and growth of the next generation of smart payments.
